There are monsters; your mother lied if she told you otherwise.
However, they are not the type to wait under your bed until you're a sleep. They are not the type that hide down the drains of your bathtub. They are humans, just like you and me.
A team of profilers, lead by Aaron Hotchner, have dedicated their lives to capturing criminals. Criminals don't stand a chance against them, or do they?
The new years has brought with it a new wave of crime. In January alone the crime rate jumped a whole ten percent from the month before. Talks of gun control seem to be mute to the number of new criminals running around the streets.
Out of this new crime wave a new cult like organization has emerged. Like is known about the organization but more than a dozen crimes have been linked to its members. These crimes range from bombings to rape and brutal murders. They have occurred all over the nation though they are based mostly in Virginia and New York. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for any of the acts. The only definite thing the police have been able to find out about the organization is they call themselves The Forgotten and are run "controlled" by a man simply known as Mr. X. No one seems to know who the man is. And out of the few members of The Forgotten the police have captured they have started to realize that maybe the followers don't even know who they are following.
While the motives of the group are unknown (Maybe they are just there to cause panic and pain) one thing that is clear is that no one is safe. Every man, woman, and child could possible be targets. No matter if they are police officers, FBI agents, Covert CIA operatives or more. The group does not discriminate when they choose victims. Even more troubling is the fact that it is getting harder and hard to determine who is good and who is bad. Even the most elite FBI agents have a price and The Forgotten seem to pride themselves on finding those prices; whether it be through money, blackmail, or treats to hurt those they love.
The elite group of profilers, FBI agents, and the nation's most dangerous criminals go head to head, each trying to keep one step in front of the other.
No one is safe, and no one knows what side you’re on.
